The M02, otherwise known as the axial compressor ensures a first stage of compression to supercharge the centrifugal compressor. The M02 is located at the front of the engine. The approximate air flow is 2.5 kg/sec. The main components of the component is the air inlet cone, axial wheel, shaft, bearing, and accessory drive shaft.
